Hergest Croft Gardens is "one of the finest collections of trees and shrubs in the British Isles"
The 70-acre gardens were established in the late 19th century and are famous for its diverse range of plants, including rare and exotic species from around the world. The gardens are divided into several distinct areas, each with its own unique character and plant collections.
Explore various features such as the Maple Grove, which showcases a magnificent display of Japanese maples, and the Kitchen Garden, where a wide variety of fruits, vegetables, and herbs are grown. The Rhododendron Garden is another highlight, with vibrant displays of rhododendrons and azaleas in spring.
Embark on picturesque walks through woodlands, wildflower meadows, and alongside streams, enjoying the peaceful surroundings, picnic areas, and beautiful vistas throughout the seasons.
Hergest Croft also features a tea room and plant sales area where you can purchase plants propagated from the garden's collection, so you can even take a little bit of this gorgeous garden home with you!
