How to find us

LEGOLAND Discovery Centre, Birmingham is located right in the heart of Birmingham in Brindleyplace, on the Water's Edge - only 2 minutes away from the National SEA LIFE Centre. 

By public transport:

Trains - nearest stations are Birmingham New Street and Birmingham Snow Hill - follow walking signs for the ICC (International Convention Centre) and Arena Birmingham.

You could even catch the tram - hop off at The Library, which is only a two-minute walk to the aquarium.

By car:

M6 Jct 6 or M5 Jct 3 and follow signs for the city centre and the Arena Birmingham, the National SEA LIFE Centre is also well signposted on main routes into the city.

Please note that dropping off is not permitted within Brindleyplace.

Also, bear in mind that in 2021, Birmingham launched its Clean Air Zone which operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. High polluting vehicles, which are not subject to an exemption, will be charged to drive within the A4540 Middleway (but not the Middleway itself).

Can adults visit the LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre in Birmingham without children?

LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre Birmingham's primary objective is to provide a safe and fun attraction for families with children aged 3-12 years to enjoy together. 

Therefore, in order to constantly maintain a quality experience in which to play, LEGOLAND® Discovery Centres around the world do not permit entry to any groups of adults, single adult and adult couples, who are not accompanied by a young child or children during standard hours.

Is LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre in Birmingham suitable for children?

Yes! LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre Birmingham is a world of colour, creativity and fun for children aged 3 to 10. There is a wealth of attractions, rides, 4D cinema and more. 

What can you do at LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre in Birmingham?

At LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre Birmingham there is a variety of things to do. From being wowed by the amazing Miniland, to sitting back and watching LEGO come to life in the 4D cinema experience.

You'll then be sent on a Kingdom Quest to help save the captured princess. If that isn't enough you can then use your imagination and create your very own LEGO racing car in LEGO Racers: Build & Test and compete against others!

Can you re-enter LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre in Birmingham after leaving?

Unfortunately, there is no re-entry into the centre once you have left the attraction.

Is there a cloakroom or lockers facility at LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre in Birmingham?

There are no lockers at LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre in Birmingham, however, there are storage boxes available. Please note that these are not lockable and therefore items are left at the owner's risk.

Can I bring my dog to the LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre in Birmingham?

Only assistance dogs are allowed into the centre, however they cannot be left unattended.

Can I buy food and drink at the LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre in Birmingham?

Yes, you can wind down from your LEGO® discovery in the LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre Café with a relaxing cup of tea or coffee. Choose from a selection of snacks for the whole family to enjoy.

Can I bring a pushchair or buggy to the LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre in Birmingham?

Pushchairs and buggies are allowed into the centre. There is a Buggy Park available, however, please note items left are at the owner's risk.

Are there photo opportunities at the LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre in Birmingham?

There is the option for a themed photo to be taken at the admissions area by the photography staff. Your photo is also taken on the Kingdom Quest ride.

Is there a 4D cinema at the LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre in Birmingham?

Yes, there is a 4D cinema. Join your favourite LEGO characters on action-packed adventures in our 4D Cinema! Watch out for supercharged wind, rain, and snow effects as they burst off the big screen and bring the movies to life!
