Meet Vy, a talented songwriter looking to make it big in the 1940's Harlem scene.
However, Vy's Uncle Jester quickly teaches her that women will never be taken seriously in a man's world. But like the strong, independent woman she is - Vy refuses to back down and accept defeat.
Through her gender fluid cunning, she meets The Duke, a club owner and friend of sensational nightclub singer, Lady Liv, in New York's Cotton Club's jazz scene.
Follow Vy as she is swept up in a syncopated symphony of melodies, mistaken identities and romance!
