Murder Mystery Dinner: Southend

Typically, the event starts with a meet and greet in the bar where you meet characters and receive clue-packs. Enjoy a three-course dinner as actors perform comedic scenes full of clues.

Participate in word-games and quizzes for extra hints. By dessert, solve the mystery before the culprit is revealed. This interactive event mixes fun, comedy, and theatre, appealing to all ages and personalities.

Fancy dress is encouraged! Guests are invited to dress in the theme of the event, such as flapper style, mobster, or Moulin Rouge. The best costume even wins a prize!

If you prefer not to dress up, the dress code is smart casual.

• Professor Bugle's Last Post featuring Sherlock Holmes
  Dates: January 2026 to May 2026
  Theme: 1920's Sherlock Holmes
  Plot: Professor Bugel has invited you to a party to celebrate his being awarded the "Golden Test Tube" for services to Pharmacology. However, things take a turn for the worse at the party, and soon, a murder is committed! It’s up to you and a special guest to unravel the crime!

  Plot: You join the Monks and Nuns at the Village of Pratt's Bottom to perform an exorcism at a local Haunted Hotel.   Theme: 1901 Moulin Rouge & Cult Movie
  Plot: Murder at the Moulin Rouge combines all the flavours of the famous French club with the atmosphere of the iconic film and our original comic murder mystery style. Set in 1901's Moulin Rouge in gay Paris. You are invited to the premiere of the new Moulin Rouge show "Spectacular Extravaganza!" but things are going awry, and manager Willy de Bom-Bom is trying to avert disaster. The show's writer is a brawling drunk, one of the dancers was recently killed, and there's a homicidal maniac on the loose! Will Willy's opening succeed? Will the cast survive the night?
