Watch an incredible performance in a truly stunning 1930s theatre

As you approach the theatre, the art deco exterior will make you feel like you're in for a night of luxury before you even walk into the box office. Opened in the 1930s, the Prince Edward Theatre is a stunning building that magnificently stands out.

Relax before the show begins

Make sure you get there early as the bars open an hour before the auditorium for evening performances.

Top tip - visit the Dress Circle Bar and sit out on the balcony to enjoy your drink. Here, you can soak up the unique London atmosphere. Sip on some delicious champagne or pick up some light snacks - there are plenty of options for all the family to enjoy.

It's show time

Enter the beautiful auditorium and you'll be blown away! The art deco auditorium itself is extremely impressive. The beautiful warm shades of red and gold fill the room and give off a luxurious feel. Sit down in your comfy seat and admire the beautiful stage as you listen to the orchestra warm up in the pits below.

Take it all in as you listen to others waiting eagerly for the show to start. Maybe you'll hear an excited child experiencing their first time at the West End or a regular talking about the many times they've seen the show? Wait for the announcement telling you the production is about to start and feel yourself fully immersed in the musical as soon as the famous curtains open.

The award-winning Disney hit Mary Poppins is back for another round at Prince Edward Theatre. Until February 2022, you can watch superb choreography, unforgettable songs, and show-stopping actors in a production that will have you dancing along in your seat. Getting to the theatre

Located near Leicester Square, the theatre is easy to get to and there are plenty of buses you can jump on.

If you're coming by train, head to Charing Cross train station or hop on the tube - the nearest stations are Leicester Square and Tottenham Court Road.
