How to find us

By car:

The Malthouse has very limited onsite parking available, parking in any available spaces will be allocated on a first arrival basis and cannot be pre-booked. The car park opens one hour pre-show. 

We recommend you use local car parks such as St Radigund’s (5–7 minute walk), Pound Lane (10 minute walk) Canterbury West (10-12 minute walk) or public transport.

Latecomers will be turned away and advised to park at one of these city centre pay & display car parks. The Kings school sports centre is monitored by Parking Eye who will issue penalty charges if you use this car park unauthorised.

By bus:

The number 4, 21 and 27 bus all stop outside Malthouse Road on St Stephen’s Road.

By train:

Canterbury West Station is 0.4 miles from the theatre and takes just nine minutes to walk. Canterbury East Station is a mile away and taxis are available from outside the train station.
