Try your hand at 25 different Clip ‘n Climb walls in Bournemouth Pier

Take on the Stairway to Heaven climbing challenge, suitable for all ages and abilities from 4 to 94! Get ready for heaps of fun while you challenge your agility, confidence, climbing, and problem-solving skills.

With an array of options to choose from, each wall presents a unique challenge, whether it's testing your speed, choosing the quickest or most difficult path to take, or figuring out how to grip and distribute your body weight. The choice is yours, and the challenges are limitless!

Climbing walls for all ages and activities

Looking for a fun and exciting challenge? Why not race your friends on "Speed Climb"? Test your climbing skills on two identical walls and see who will make it to the top first!

Want to conquer some of the most difficult walls at RockReef? Try your hand at the "Triffid" wall, which is known for its finger grips and lack of hand holds. Or take on the "Dry Ice" wall using ice picks to secure your climb.

Feeling brave? Tackle the "Jungle Vines" or the daring "Lightning Crack." With so many climbing challenges to choose from, you're sure to have an exhilarating experience at RockReef!

Is RockReef wheelchair accessible?

Bournemouth Pier is flat and accessible for wheelchairs and pushchairs. The main entrance to RockReef is on ground level and has a small ramp and wide double doors to make it easily accessible. The toilets are located on the ground floor and there is a baby changing facility. There is also a disabled toilet accessible from the outside to the East side of the main RockReef entrance. The RockReef café is located on the first floor and only accessible via a staircase. However, there is a viewing and seating area available on the ground floor. 

Are there any restrictions on who can participate?

There is a minimum age of 4 years for the Clip 'n Climb, Vertical Slide and Pier Cave. There is a minimum height of 1.1 metres for the highline. Children under 16 must be accompanied by a supervising adult at all times. 

Can I climb or take part in RockReef activities if I am pregnant?

It is recommended that pregnant women do not participate in RockReef activities. 

What age do you need to be for RockReef?

RockReef activities are only suitable for children aged 4 and up.
