A guided day into Scottish culture

You'll be picked up in Waterloo Place, Edinburgh and spend 30 minutes driving through the picturesque East Lothian before arriving at the stunning Glenkinchie Distillery, home of the Edinburgh Malt.

Continue on and you're being guided around the distillery as part of your guided tour provided by one of the experts at the distillery. Later you'll be welcomes into the bar area for a complimentary tasting of two single malt whiskies.

After your tour you've got another short drive but this time to the award-winning, family run Mercat Bar and Grill at Musselburgh. Here you'll enjoy three Scottish dishes paired with three Single Malt whiskies.

Enjoy Cullen Skink, thick Scottish soup made with smoked haddock, potatoes, and onions, Haggis, Neeps and Tatties, Scotland’s national dish of haggis, mashed potato, and turnip, and Clootie dumpling, a rich, spiced and festive Scottish pudding.

After your tour is over, it's finally time to return to waterloo place, but not without the memories of the traditional Scottish food, single malt whisky and countryside lingering on.
