Is SEALIFE Scarborough Aquarium wheelchair accessible?

The SEA LIFE Centre in Scarborough is fully accessible, however due to the age and design of the building, alternative routes will need to be taken at certain points. 

  • There is an access lift in the gift shop
  • There's a designated accessibility route
  • A large disabled toilet is located on the ground floor
  • Carers are offered one free admission ticket: Proof of eligibility may be required.

Yes, the Adventurers Café sells a wide range of quality hot and cold food suitable for both adults and children.

If you would prefer to bring your own picnic, there are picnic benches outside at Beach Bites Kiosk, which also serves hot and cold snacks. There are more picnic benches besides the seal pool.
