Is the One Hour Public Trip by Skipton Boat Trips wheelchair accessible?

Yes, to an extent. 

  • The Cobbydale canal cruiser is fitted with handrails and has an accessible ramp to help boarding.
  • However, there are 4-5 steps to access to vessel which may be inaccessible to some wheelchair users. 
  • The outdoor areas are uneven, but once aboard, the ground of the boat is even and stable. 
  • Wheelchairs and walkers must be stored near the boat entrance or at Skipton Boat Trips due to limited space on the vessel.
