Visit the Palace of Holyroodhouse Gardens in Edinburgh

Filled with the charming chorus of songbirds, the gardens become a kaleidoscope of colour and vibrancy in the spring and summer months.

Some unmissable highlights include the Jubilee Border, which was originally planted with silver plants in celebration of The Queen's Diamond Jubilee, a previously thought extinct species called the Wentworth Elm, and the sundial made for Charles I's Scottish Coronation in 1633.

While you won't find royalty like Mary, Queen of Scots living in the palace during your visit, nowadays the place is regularly used by The King, who welcomes thousands of specially invited guests during the royal week.

Don't worry if you don't have an invitation though, our tickets to The Palace of Holyrood will do just the trick!
