What’s the Ringo Slide?

Imagine a giant inflatable ring, a slope covered in real snow, and 30 minutes of pure sliding joy. That’s the Ringo Slide! It’s a purpose built snow slide designed for maximum fun and minimum fuss.

Whizz, spin, and slide down the snowy slope

  • No experience needed, just hop in and go!
  • Great for ages 4 and up
  • Sessions run every weekend and throughout school holidays

How to find us

By train:

There are regular trains from London Euston to Hemel Hempstead Train Station with London Northwestern Railway – a journey time of just 30 minutes. Its then about a 40 minute walk or 5 minute taxi ride. There is a taxi rank at the station.

The closest train station is Apsley. You can walk to the centre in 15-20 minutes. There is no taxi rank at Apsley, but you can call a taxi on 01442 247247.

What should I wear at The Snow Centre?

The temperature is between -2 and -6 on the slope, so you need to ensure that you dress appropriately. Wear warm waterproof clothes where possible, and if you don't have anything waterproof, bring a change of clothes for after your session in case you get cold and wet! Clothing items such as jeans are not recommended.

Is equipment included at The Snow Centre?

Yes! Your pass includes the hire of skis, ski boots & poles or snowboard & snowboard boots plus helmets.

Is there parking at The Snow Centre?

Yes! The car park is free for all guests, there is no need to log your car registration anywhere either!
