You choose the pace of your adventure when you hire a Canadian Canoe on the Llangollen canal. Enjoy an adventure at your own pace, experience the wonderful sights, historical architecture and wildlife. - Explore the full length of the Llangollen Canal including the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, through the Chirk tunnel and over the Chirk Aqueduct.

Anytime of the year - Includes all necessary equipment, insurance, transport to and from the canal and free parking here on our site. - Suitable for all. No previous experience required, even bring your dog. **This price is for two people in a boat. Third person: £15 surcharge.

Journey Options

Half Day

8 Kilometres / 5 Miles / 3hrs - We drop you off at Llangollen. You head downstream going over the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, and we pick you up at Froncysyllte Basin

Full Day Route

14 Kilometres / 9 Miles / 7.5hrs - We drop you off in Llangollen and you enjoy the down stream journey over the towering Thomas Telford Aqueduct, through the Whitehurst Tunnel, the Chirk Tunnel and then over Chirk Aqueduct into England! We'll collect you and bring you back to base. If you want a little extra you can travel a short distance to the magnificent horshoe falls at the beginning of the day. This adds approximately 5km or 3 miles to the route.
