See the bustle of the Port of Southampton

Known for its cultural and natural beauty, the Port of Southampton has a secret you may not know: it was from the White Star Dock Berth 44 in Southampton, later known as the Ocean Dock, that the Titanic was to leave.

Your day of exploration will start at the Town Quay Pier, where you'll see not only the bustle of the Port of Southampton, but also the majestic size of one of the longest linear quays in the world.

Next, you'll walk down Mayflower Park, where the famous ship began sailing on course to America and ended in one of the worst shipwrecks in history - sinking the "unsinkable" ship.

Then head down the QE2 Mile. This runs through the heart of the city and connects its high street, parks, new cultural quarter and Old town. You'll have tons of opportunities to grab that "instagrammable moment" as you stroll down the QE2.

Finally, towards Oxford Street you'll uncover all the secrets of the Titanic that continue to lurk and hide in the modern-day city of Southampton.
