You’ll zoom around the breathtaking Rhigos mountains and soar over the legendary Tower Colliery, enjoying a leisurely ride or holding on for dear life depending on how fast you want to go!
With tunnels, banked corners, dips and peaks, the coaster is an exhilarating way to see Tower Colliery up close. If you have a moment to reflect as you're whizzing around the coaster tracks, just think, this place was once the oldest continuously working deep-coal mine in the UK - simply dripping in wonderful Welsh history!
What does the Tower Coaster experience include?
Three goes on the coaster are included with your ticket and, as you control your speed, you can try to go faster on each run! Being a side-by-side kart, you can take part alongside friends or family, with shared tickets also available for kids between 4 and 8 to ride with an adult.
This experience at Zip World Tower is perfect for those of you who like to keep your feet on the group (and not flying down a zip line through the sky).

Tower Coaster Facts

- The track is 1km long
- You can get up to 25mph

Need to know
- Age - Min 4 yrs
- Height - children aged 4-11 must be at least 1.05m tall, guests aged 12 and over must be at least 1.3m tall. Max. height for all participants is 2m
- Max Weight - participants must weigh no more than 130kg to take part
- Max Weight (combined) - if two people are in sledge, max weight must be below 200kg
Supervision for under 18s:
- A participating child (passenger) aged 4-11 yrs who is at last 1.05m tall must be accompanied on the same sledge by one participant (driver) aged 12 yrs +
- Children aged 9-17 must be accompanied by a spectating adult in a ratio of 1 adult to 5 children
- Supervising adult must remain on the coaster station area throughout the duration of the adventure
