From Suffrage to Trade Unions, Abolition to the legacy of Empre and Colonialism - discover how some of these major events have influenced British political culture and hear stories that are often forgotten by the history books!

  • Every day at 11am - some days are available to book in the afternoon!

  • The tour lasts around 2 hours

  • Under 14s go for free!

Where will you be going?

  • Meet your rebel guide at Methodist Central Hall and hear about what's going on across the channel in 1789
  • Votes for women at Caxton Hall
  • The ark underbelly of Westminster 
  • Suffragists, suffragettes and militant protest
  • Rebels then and now in Parliament Square 
  • Abolition - empire and the slave trade
  • A near miss at Downing Street - the IRA come to London
  • Walk up Whitehall to learn of England's only republic and what happens when a monarch goes to far
  • Art and protest in Trafalgar Square where you will end

Rebel Tours aim to make tours inclusive and accessible for all visitors. Whilst London is not the most wheelchair-friendly city, routes are designed to make them as accessible as possible.
