Mountain Bike Easter Camp For Beginners Plus

Ride in Peace Adventures - Aberdeenshire

Available to 13 April 2022

Thrills and skills

These kids sessions are aimed at learning and developing skills and techniques used in mountain biking whilst having fun!

The beginner sessions are aimed at teaching core skills on Green and Blue graded runs.

There's so much to learn, from pedalling and braking through textured terrain to changing gears, ascending and descending on easy terrain. You'll know how to manoeuvre safely while avoiding obstacles.

Discover the cone of movement and readying position, where bikers move their weight around while cycling.

Go MTB is a mountain bike achievement award by Cycling Scotland that enables you to advance your technical riding skills as well as learning how to look after yourself, your bike, the environment and other people, with four themes to the Award and five levels of achieve.

The little RIPA camp sessions are aimed at kids wanting to take their cycling skills from schools BikeAbility Award to develop into GO MTB riding techniques.

Be prepared!

If you'd like to experience this to the fullest, please gear up appropriately: suitable bike, helmet, full finger gloves, a small rucksack with water, food, and waterproofs.
