Join Sea Kayak Torquay for their fun Taster Tours

Sea Kayak's 90 minute Taster tours, designed for groups of up to 4 people, provide an excellent entry point for beginners or young paddlers to experience the sea. 

What to Expect on your Taster Tour:

• All tours delivered by expert guides, and these professionals give you all the skills you need to manoeuvre your craft through the water.
• Observe seals if you're lucky!
• Explore remote coves 
• Discover secluded beaches and toast marshmallows!

All tours are led by expert guides who impart essential paddling skills and share their in-depth knowledge of paddle sports, from boat design to environmental considerations. The helpful guides are eager to answer any questions and ensure your safety as you explore remote areas.

You can expect to observe seals; visit sea caves and explore remote coves and on our longer experiences stop at a secluded beach to toast marshmallows, create rock art and observe our very special and protected fossils!

You won't need specialized clothing or equipment; Reed's technical Chill cheater clothing is provided to enable year-round paddling. On cooler days, wearing gym gear beneath the dry gear is advisable, and it's usually possible to keep your feet dry.

There's something for every new or existing paddler in Torbay. Taking to the water from any of the sheltered sides of the bay, we are immediately engrossed in areas rich in dramatic rock formations, along with a crime scene at every cove according to Agatha Christie. Starting from any location and heading in any direction you find an abundance of marine wildlife and you are presented with extraordinary geodiversity and marine wildlife!
