Unbeatable views in the summit of South Wales

Seeing the sunset of Pen y Fan is a must-do for all visitors to the Brecon Beacons.

This sunset walk is timed to catch the last of the rays as you head to the summit of the highest point in all the South half of the United Kingdom, Pen y Fan. This iconic mountain symbolises the unique nature of the Brecon Beacons National Park and is just about the finest of locations to witness the sun on its daily journey.

Meeting point:

• The adventure begins at 6:30pm at ​Pont ar Daf Car Park, Near Storey Arms OEC, Libanus, Brecon LD3 8NL. The adventure will end at 9:30 pm.

Know before you go:

• This tour will take place rain or shine
• You will climb 460m to reach the top of Pen y Fan
• There is no elevator!
• Andy (the tour leader) may bring his dog with him.
• Although most levels of fitness can be accommodated please be sensible when booking and know your own ability
• Unfortunately, this trip is not suitable for Wheelchair users
