Zip World Llechwedd has five choices of quarry and underground-mine adventures!
Zip World Llechwedd has five adventures each offering a unique and exciting experience. Discover more about each one in the 'Tickets' section below.
1. Underground Golf (crazy golf but better!)
Rather than picking up your golf club and ball and cracking on, first, you'll stand at the top of Europe's steepest cable railway shaft to fix on your helmets. Descent complete, make your way through the beautifully-lit caverns (minding your heads as you go!), to the world's first underground golf course. It's time to play!
2. Titan
Titan was the first 4-person zip line in Europe, that sees you zip your way through the sky above a dramatic slate quarry. Travelling over 1 kilometre, you'll enjoy views of the quarry below you as you zip overhead. You'll also enjoy stunning views of the historic mining town of Blaenau Ffestiniog and the beautiful Snowdonia beyond.
3. Bounce Below
Escape to a subterranean world of hidden adventures - you've never been trampolining like this before! Bounce, jump and slide through this spectacular disused mine in the heart of North Wales.
4. Caverns
This challenging, one-of-a-kind activity course buried deep within a historical slate mine will leave you feeling uplifted and alive! A course including 13 zip lines plus rope bridges, tightropes and more means you can explore the nooks, crannies, tunnels and chasms, putting your bravery and endurance to the test.
5. Deep Mine Tour
Travel back to the 19th century as you descend 500ft into Llechwedd’s fascinating past. You’ll step aboard the underground train on Europe's steepest cable railway and learn about all 16 underground levels of this iconic mine. You’ll see where the famous Llechwedd Cheese is matured as well as the eight underwater layers of the mine.
A full day out in Blaenau Ffestiniog at Zip World
You can easily spend a whole day exploring the adventures on offer at Zip World Llechwedd. Plus, with many of the adventures underground, it's the perfect attraction to visit when you're looking for things to do in North Wales when it's raining, or when the weather is really hot!
In-between adventures, be sure to pop into the Zip World Llechwedd Café. It's the perfect spot to relax and refuel.

How to find us
Using public transport? Catch a train to Blaenau Ffestiniog which is just under two miles away from the attraction.

- If you’re bringing your dog on holiday, then there's also pet care available at the attraction where experienced and professional staff will look after them. You'll know your pooch is being looked after and having a great day out, just like you.
What to wear at Zip World
Wrap up warm!
It's worth mentioning that as we move into autumn and winter, you should wrap up warm while on site. They will be keeping everyone outside in the fresh air and open space as much as possible to help social distancing and keep any risk as low as possible, for example while you are queuing or waiting for your adventure to start.
For all our adventures:
- Tie long hair back
- Remove all jewellery and scarves. Head scarves with loose ends are also not permitted.
- Wear trainers or walking boots - open toe shoes, flip flops, sandals or similar footwear are not permitted
- Wear sensible trousers - skirts are not recommended.
- As you will be participating in physical activity, we can not accept liability for any damage to any items of clothing, footwear etc.
Zip World Caverns & Bounce Below
These adventures are based in an underground cavern where the temperature is approximately 10 °C all year. Please wear suitable clothing that covers your arms and legs, preferably old garments in the likelihood of dirt/damage occurring.
For Caverns, please wear either trainers or walking boots; for Bounce Below, please wear trainers. As you will be participating in physical activity, Zip World cannot accept liability for any damage to any items of clothing, footwear etc. Open toe shoes, flip flops, sandals or similar footwear are not permitted.
